GEM Activities

Speleology

The interest in knowledge and study of the cave environment led to the creation of GEM.
Find out here the meaning of speleology.

Canyoning

One of the most recent activities of the GEM that already has a growing number of members.
Discover its meaning here.

Via Ferrata

Inicialmente praticado maioritariamente fora do país, atualmente já contamos com várias vias em Portugal.

Photography

Present in every GEM activity, photography has gained its own space and is already asserting itself as an independent activity at GEM.

Mountaineering

The desire to develop various mountain activities was essential in the creation of the GEM.
See here a little of the mountaineering history.

Crossing

As this is one of the aspects of Mountaineering, the crossing is an activity that has its own project at GEM.

Alpinism

One of the most demanding activities at GEM, it also has specialized training courses to prepare members who like this activity.

Biospeleology

More than collecting, identifying and classifying living organisms, we are interested in understanding the work of cave ecosystems.

Other Activities

Também são disponibilizadas aos nossos sócios outras atividades, sejam elas organizadas pelo GEM ou em estreita colaboração com os nossos parceiros.
